Burn is a psychological thriller about ghosts that cannot stay buried and chilling secrets among old friends. Witty pals Robert, David and Samira are together once more, following the five year disappearance of Robert’s novelist wife, Tara, and the death of their horror writer friend, Paul. Paul’s estranged daughter, Eve, shows up to deliver her father’s last request. This “stranger” knows far more disturbing private details, about everyone, than she should.
Cited for its “cleverness and intricacy,” Burn was nominated Best New Play of 2017 by the Capital Critics’ Circle, Ottawa
“Burn is an entertaining and often compelling puzzle…We really want to find out who did what to whom.” – Jerry Wasserman, Vancouver Plays/Vancouver Sun.
